Storage conditions - General
Hoses may be exposed to various environments during use, and their physical properties may change accordingly. Therefore, they may not be able to maintain the most suitable usage conditions during use.
When storing, the following points should be noted to prevent the hose from undergoing property changes in the storage environment.
 Storage lifespan
The storage duration should be minimized as much as possible; the "first-in, first-out" circulation method can be adopted. If the storage duration needs to be extended, such as for one year, a comprehensive inspection of the hose (to assess the degree of aging and damage) should be conducted before use
 Temperature and Humidity: The storage temperature should be maintained between 0°C/32°F and 35°C/95°F (optimal temperature is 15°C/59°F). Relative humidity should not exceed 65%
Lighting: The hose should be stored in a dark place to prevent exposure to sunlight and intense artificial light. The windows of the storage area should be painted red, orange, or white.
Ozone: Ozone can damage rubber materials. The storage environment must be free of any substances that can release ozone, such as mercury lamps, mercury tubes, high-voltage electrical equipment, electric motors, and other substances that may generate sparks and static electricity.

Storage environment: All fittings, including hoses, must not be exposed to or come into contact with solvents, fuels, petroleum, oils, greases, volatiles, acidic substances, disinfectants, etc. Additionally, metal materials such as copper, iron, and manganese can also pose a hazard to rubber.
Electric and magnetic fields: In storage areas, electromagnetic field changes are not allowed, as changes in electric or magnetic fields can induce current in the metal coils of the hose, causing it to heat up. High-voltage cables and high-frequency generators are examples of sources that can generate such strong electric and magnetic fields.
Storage conditions: When storing, hoses should not be manually compressed, stretched, or excessively deformed. They must not come into contact with any sharp metal objects. Store in a dry environment, and if conditions permit, store in separate areas. When storing hoses in a coronal roll, they should be laid flat and not stacked on top of each other. If stacking is necessary, the height should not exceed the limit, and care should be taken to prevent permanent deformation of the underlying hoses due to pressure. Heavier items should be placed on the bottom, and lighter items can be placed on top. The bending radius should not exceed the minimum bending radius specified for the product. Do not hang coronal rolls on hooks. Straight pipes should be laid flat and not folded.
 Rodent damage: Hoses should be protected from rodent damage. Protective measures should be taken in storage areas to prevent rodents from biting the hoses.
 Outbound delivery: It should be ensured that the hoses are complete and undamaged when they are delivered out, meeting the conditions for use. Therefore, different hoses should be marked accordingly. In special cases, such as when the hoses have been stored for a long time, the metal tube ends should be carefully inspected before they are delivered out.
 Storage: Before storing the hose, ensure that there is no residual transmission substance inside. If the transmission substance is a chemical, such as explosives, flammables, or corrosives, special precautions should be taken. After cleaning and before storage, check whether the hose is intact to ensure normal use in the future.
Cleaning: When cleaning, use a brush, sponge, or cloth soaked in soapy water or active cleaning agent. Do not use metal brushes, abrasives, or sharp utensils.
Application of norms - protection
The hose should not be dragged on sharp or rough surfaces, nor should it be subjected to hammering, cutting with a knife, deformation, or vehicle crushing. When transporting heavy straight pipes, especially during lifting, appropriate protective measures should be taken.
